About Me

Hey there! My name is Alixander Laffredo-Dietrich, and I'm a nerd.

Big time.

If you don't want me to talk your ear off, then don't get me started about music or the Final Fantasy series. Well...too late.

In fact, when I was a kid, I only did two things in my life: play guitar and play Final Fantasy. The only thing I dreamt about was that one day I would be the next Nobuo Uematsu (the composer of Final Fantasy) or the next Yoshitaka Amano (the concept artist for Final Fantasy). I warned you – I'm a big-time nerd.

When I had the chance to go to college, I left everything behind in my hometown of Reading, Pennsylvania and moved to Richmond, Virginia to go to VCU – a top art school in the USA.

During my time in university, I not only learned how to make concept art, but I also expanded my passions and expertise into unexpected fields!

My knowledge of music landed me as a TEDx Speaker on how I used music to learn social skills. My knowledge of 3D modeling helped do more than design characters and environments; I was making prototypes, scanning people, animating with motion capture, and printing prosthetic limbs!

When I graduated, I landed a job at IBM where I did everything from writing technical documents to leading design thinking workshops with non-profit businesses and United Way.

I started a business where I became a multi #1 bestselling Amazon author who has sold over 10k books worldwide, shared the stage with politicians, CEOs and investors, been interviewed by FOX, CBS, and NBC, guest lectured at Duke University and VCU, and became an international speaker featured on stages and podcasts around the globe.

I'm just a guy who likes making cool stuff.

My friends at Vytal Studios, if you are looking for a (big-time) nerd/learner-of-anything-you-need/die-hard-cool-stuff-maker then I'd love to chat with you!

Together, I think we can make some (really) cool stuff.
